I’ve posted about this before, this idea that some albums will always exert a particularly intense pull over me due to their strong association with certain periods of my life. There have been times when I’ve thought my Slowdive days might end up being my happiest days, no matter what happened. It’s a cynical sort of thing to think, but also kind of dopily naive. But lately I am feeling pretty good about the future, even if it contains nothing relevant to The Stuff That Matters.

Every person for whom I’ve played this album has ended up loving it. Envokes memories of my freshman year of college.

Played this several times over the past week. Perfect music for Autumn.
